HVAC Technician

Job Title: MVAC / HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Putrajaya (Base) & Project Sites (Kuala Lumpur & Selangor)

**Employment Type:*12 months contract with ATS based on your performance might be permanent 

### Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled **MVAC/HVAC Technician** to handle the installation, preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems across our project sites in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor.

### Key Responsibilities

**Maintenance & Servicing**

* Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on MVAC/HVAC systems according to scheduled timelines.

* Service, inspect, and maintain equipment including split units, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation fans, pumps, and ducting systems.

**Troubleshooting & Repairs**

* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related system faults.

* Respond promptly to breakdown calls and complete repairs within designated timeframes.

**Testing, Operations & Reporting**

* Conduct system testing, commissioning, air balancing, and performance checks.

* Record operational readings and identify equipment abnormalities or potential failure risks.

* Prepare clear service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.

**Site & Safety Management**

* Maintain accurate inventory and proper care of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

* Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.

* Adhere strictly to occupational safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.

* Perform additional technical tasks assigned by management

### Requirements

* **Education:** Certificate, Diploma, or Vocational Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or a related field.

* **Experience:** 2–3 years of hands-on experience in MVAC/HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

* **Technical Skills:**

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

* Solid working knowledge of basic electrical wiring and control systems

* **Licensing & Mobility:** Must possess a **valid driving license and personal transportation**; willing to travel across site locations, work outstation, and work overtime when required.

* **Soft Skills & Physical Fitness:** Strong problem-solving skills, good communication, ability to work independently or in a team, and physically fit for site-based manual work.
