Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) Centre:
Using digital technology to render expertise borderless!
Enables the remote management of production for 18 Air Liquide Large Industries production units spanning eight countries across the region, as well as optimizing energy consumption and improving reliability at these sites, by leveraging predictive analytics and digital technologies.
How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success
Optimize multiple plants production, anticipate reliability and production deviation and provide support to site teams. The role is responsible to orchestrate an optimized production planning & optimization that is cost efficient, aligned with relevant stakeholders and realized in a seamless manner. The data-driven engineer will mainly be in charge of optimizing (planning, strategy & monitoring) Hydrogen and CO plants network remotely, performing analytics on production plan & asset performance and looking to reach the Best Economical Point.
She/He will be in charge of preparing the production optimization strategy, adjusted to the energy strategy, to the customer demand and to the complex asset productivity. The candidate will be supported by a team of experts and innovative data analytics tools. The candidate will be a part of the team that will strongly interact with site teams locally, requiring specific communication skills.
Scope: HyCO Plants in Singapore, South Korea and Thailand
(A) Production units optimization:
- Propose production strategy for HyCO plants
- Responsible for development, deployment and sustainment of analytical dashboard and data model to ensure plants running modes are optimized
- Optimization of network load distribution of multiple assets
- Product demand coordination with customers, key account managers, and commercial team
- Annual run plan review, monthly run plan review, shut down/ start up review
- Support senior HyCO engineers in optimizing plant productions
(B) Reliability and efficiency
- Coordinate with site champion on a monthly basis to follow up on findings related to equipment reliability, planning initiatives and progress of efficiency projects
- Analyze data and troubleshoot to identify anomalies and/or production optimization opportunities via monitoring activities and then prioritize based on operational risk and/or value opportunity
- Leverage detailed process understanding to develop and brainstorm potential efficiency improvement project - Build the models for Predictive Maintenance and ensure a follow up of alarms
(C) Production Optimization:
- Plant & network optimization, taking into account the plant operating and external market conditions, coordination with site
- Work closely with specialists for short and long term operational strategy for optimization
(D) Drive efficiency projects
- HyCO Key Performance Indicator dashboard development and follow-ups
- Production & plant monitoring and gap analysis, efficiency item monitoring and follow-ups
- Development of production plans & strategies, nominations, monitoring & execution support
- Development & maintenance of optimization models 5. Efficiency gains / performance analysis & contribution tracking
(E) Support business decision making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine data collection needs and appropriate data resources for specific projects or initiatives
- Analyse and present options for decision making using tools like SIO.Optim, SIO.Perform or other home made tools
- Develop new business strategies and business models, ad hoc reports, taking all aspects into consideration and providing insight into how these strategies will benefit the company
- Check + clearing Predictive analytics tools
- Design dashboard and communicate analytical findings to seniors
Are you a MATCH
- Strong fundamentals knowledge in Hydrogen and CO Processes
- Strong analytical & numerical, problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Experienced in Excel and related software
- Good understanding/working knowledge of data analysis and modeling, data visualization
- 2-3 years relevant working experience in Hydrogen plant, Petrochemicals or Refinery is a plus.
- Experience with furnace, coldbox & reactor processes preferred. Experience in production planning
