Job Summary
Overseeing the Hose Management System and its operations across the Container Handling Equipment (CHE), This role acts as the technical bridge between the section management and the appointed contractors to ensure all HMS protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor hose inspection, repair, and replacement activities for container handling equipment.
- Oversee contractor work related to hose cutting, fitting, assembling, crimping, inspection, pressure testing, and tagging.
- Maintain and manage hose inventory, issuance records, and HMS documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly Hose Management System reports.
- Ensure 5S standards are implemented and maintained within the hose workshop area.
- Support tools and consumables management within the section.
- Ensure hose workshop machines and equipment are properly maintained and operational

Requirements
- SPM / STPM / TVET Certificate / Diploma in Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of experience in hydraulic systems, hose assembly, testing, crimping, or troubleshooting hydraulic leaks.
- Experience with heavy machinery, automotive, or port container handling equipment will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and hose layout diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with crimping machines, pressure test rigs, and hydraulic tools.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Computer literate (MS Office) and able to work independently
