Job Requirement
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education (with ICT specialization), or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching ICT/Computer Science at the secondary level (IGCSE experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, coding/programming, and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Graphics, HTML).
- Preferred Attributes:
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging, project-based learning experiences.
- Experience in mentoring students and supporting colleagues in ICT.
- Willingness to organize ICT exhibitions and school-wide initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in the English language
- Eligibility: Applicants must be residing in and legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
Job Description
As an ICT/Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in ICT and Computer Science for secondary students, including IGCSE.
- Develop and adapt course materials, lesson plans, and schemes of work in line with curriculum standards.
- Foster student proficiency in programming (Python), software applications, and digital literacy.
- Promote hands-on, project-based learning to enhance student engagement and practical skills.
- Maintain and manage classroom technology systems to ensure optimal learning conditions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and lead professional development in ICT.
- Organize school events such as ICT exhibitions, coding competitions, or tech workshops.
- Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that inspires student interest in technology.
