- Support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for PCBA/SMT lines, focusing on productivity, cost efficiency, capacity utilization, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for PCBA/SMT lines, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design and implement efficient production layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
- Analyze and improve line balancing, production cycles, and material flow to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform lead time analysis, motion studies and capacity planning to identify areas for improvement and maximize equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to drive continuous process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze production data, providing insights to improve throughput, yield, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Support the setup and launch of production lines in the facility, working closely with the equipment and production teams.
- Complete a costing calculation (customer RFQ) within the time frame. Coordinate and review RFQ costing to ensure pricings are competitive and profitable.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour and overhead associated with projects or products.
- Certificate/Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in PCBA/SMT or electronics production.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, line balancing, capacity planning, and process improvement techniques.
- Ability to analyze production data and perform basic costing calculations using Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively on process improvement activities.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong interest in process improvement.
- Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and practical improvement opportunities.
- Able to work under tight timelines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
