Business Unit Introduction - IEGG

Interactive Entertainment Group Global (IEGG) is responsible for the Global R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain offline and real-time ETL pipelines for the game advertising domain, including performance tuning and scalability improvements.
• Analyze ad conversion performance and produce customized/personalized reports and dashboards.
• Build and maintain Python-based backend systems for data crawling, web scraping, and data ingestion.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 1+ years of working experience in data engineering or data analysis.
• Good understanding of various types of databases, including relational databases and distributed databases.
• Good understanding of Python/Java, SQL, HiveQL/SparkSQL and relevant best practices/techniques for performance tuning.
• Good analytical and technical skills in building batch/streaming data pipelines for big data, with experience using big-data processing engines like Spark/Flink/Hive.
• Business proficiency (written and spoken) in Mandarin to communicate with non-English speaking counterparts based in China for gathering requirements and analysis.
