The Network Engineer (L2) is responsible for managing standard and low complexity incidents, conducting routine, repetitive tasks whilst using readily available information and following standard practices and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco routers and switches (core, aggregation, access) and Cisco Prime and ISE.
• Implement and support wireless LAN solutions using Cisco and Aruba hardware (controllers, access points, ClearPass or equivalent).
• Provide operational support for LAN/WAN/WLAN environments: routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching (VLAN, STP/RSTP/MST), network access controls (802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS), NAT, VPN, QoS, etc.

The Level 2 Communications Engineer provides operational (BAU) support for mission-critical communication and operational technology (OT) systems

Primary Responsibilities

• Industrial Pervasive Wireless Networks (Explosion-proof / ATEX-certified Access Points)
• Private LTE & Private 5G networks supporting field mobility and automation
• Satellite Communications (VSAT, Starlink) for offshore and remote sites
• Digital Microwave (PtP, PtMP) and long-haul backhaul links

This role focuses on security infrastructure maintenance, remote troubleshooting, and incident resolution—not SOC threat monitoring. You will ensure the stability, health, and availability of firewalls, VPN gateways, and other security appliances while meeting strict SLA requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform L2 troubleshooting for device health issues, policy errors, configuration problems, HA failovers, and connectivity incidents.
• Support maintenance of security platforms such as:
• Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower/ASA or equivalent.
• Perform configuration updates, policy adjustments, failover testing, firmware reviews, and pre/post change checks.
