Role Summary 

Manage end‑to‑end immigration and work authorization processes for corporate and individual clients, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian regulations, timely case progression, and high‑quality client support from eligibility assessment through approval, arrival, and renewals. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct eligibility checks and assess appropriate visa, permit, and licensing pathways based on client circumstances, corporate structure, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Stay updated on immigration, ESD/MDEC, and sector‑specific licensing policies; highlight impacts to clients and escalate material changes internally. 
  • Coordinate document collection, verify completeness and authenticity, prepare drafts, complete forms, and ensure accurate submissions to Immigration, ESD, MDEC, MIDA/MITI, CIDB, MDTCC, or other authorities. 
  • Track case progress proactively from submission to approval, escalating delays where required. 
  • Maintain proper case management hygiene, audit‑ready documentation, and adherence to internal protocols and turnaround times. 
  • Liaise with clients HR, mobility teams, assignees, embassies/consulates, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth workflow and timely clarification of issues. 
  • Manage escalations professionally, ensuring clear expectation setting and strong stakeholder communication. 
  • Provide clear, consistent updates on case status, required actions, timelines, and foreseeable risks to clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Monitor permit expiry dates, renewals, passport validity, and document dependencies for assigned client portfolios. 
  • Prepare reports, trackers, KPIs, and dashboards for key accounts as required by client SOPs or management. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Diploma or a Bachelor's degree In Human Resource, Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance or other related fields. 
  • 2–5+ years immigration experience (Malaysia), strong English and Bahasa skills. 
  • Good command in the Chinese language is preferred to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients. 
  • High attention to detail, deadline discipline, empathetic client service. 
  • Proficient in MS Office and case systems.
