Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the Import Customer Service team to ensure the end-to-end import and re-import activities of Finished Goods, Semi-Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Spare Parts & Machinery, Product Samples, and Premium items into Nestlé Malaysia (Business Units, Factories, Co-packers, etc.) in order to support committed Customer Service levels and On-Shelf Availability by achieving On-Time Customs Clearance and Delivery, while maximizing benefits from tariff and duty privileges at the optimum cost.
• Supervise and provide consultation to New Import Product Development staff and other colleagues on import regulations, import requirements, tariffs and import duties, and all related import procedures to support sound business decision-making and ensure supply readiness according to BEM/BU launch targets and agreed timelines.
• Act as the key contact point for Nestlé Affiliates, third-party Suppliers, Logistics Service Providers, Customs Authorities, and relevant Government Bodies for all import activities, including claims, complaints, returns, and refusals.
  
  

We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; MBA qualification is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Exposure to Import & Export operations, customs processes, or the shipping industry will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Customs laws, regulations, tariffs, and import procedures.
• Excellent English communication skills.
