Role Description

This contract role for an In-Country Manager will focus on managing and supporting Victoria University's operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. The position includes building and maintaining strong partnerships, supporting recruitment activities and promoting VU's programs. The role supports the broader activities of the VU Global (VUG) team, including assessing Genuine Student (GS) criteria required to obtain an Australian international student visa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and demonstrated results in international student recruitment including developing, delivering and evaluating marketing campaigns and events, minimum 3 to 5 years.
• Completion of a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Sound knowledge and experience of the offshore, Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean international student market(s), international qualifications, the Australian education system, government policy affecting international students, other appropriate information relating to all courses offered by the University and the nominated entrance requirements.
• Screen Applicants, based on DHA requirements, to recommend if an Applicant meets the criteria as a Genuine Student.
• Promote the Courses and VU with integrity and accuracy and identify prospective Applicants in an honest, ethical and responsible manner.
• Provide support and training to agents to ensure all the necessary forms and mandatory supporting documents are completed correctly and submitted in accordance with VU admissions procedures.
• Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to determine priorities, and schedule work to meet deadlines.
• Substantial travel throughout the regions covered will be required of the In-Country Manager.
