UCT is looking for a talented Industrial Engineer II to join us in Malaysia!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set-up the production line based on the Customer requirement with lean line concept and meeting UCT's standard factory standardization for New product introduction and internal product transfer between sites
- Plan for Kanban, In-Process-Kanban (IPK), Free stock, line side components assemblies by operations or feeder
- Able to analyze BOM and recognize the Free/floor stock vs. Issue parts and able to size up the production floor
- Implement Visual Aids to meet 6S standard and WW standardization in the Manufacturing floor
- Design Kitting trolley based on the demand of the systems taking consideration of Sub-Assemblies and Integration Assemblies
- Regularly review Factory capacity by working together with Manufacturing and Test Engineering group
- Maintain the Assembly Fixtures, Test Fixtures and other related accessories records in database and maintain them in healthy condition with required spares and maintenance plan
- Review Operation Standard based on customers requirement and Industry standard
- Initiate the Tool purchases and get to the calibration department for regular calibration
- Involve in continuous improvement initiatives to drive manufacturing efficiency and cost reduction
- Lead the Capacity Improvement Program (CIP) for bottleneck tools and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvement
- Cycle time improvement by optimizing the manufacturing layout with continuous improvement mindset
- Initiate and Implement world calls automations and I4.0 projects for Factory automation
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant experience in Industrial Engineering
- Experience in setting up lean line set-up, Manufacturing flow, Standardization
- Technical understanding of Equipment manufacturing process
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills for effective decision making
- Able to communicate to working level, management level and Customers with good presentation preparation and get the message across the team
- Project management understanding and knows how to use the application software
- Excellent Visual ERP system/Excel and other MS office applications skills
