Industrial Engineer

Job Purpose and Position: -

Improve manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency, output, manning ratio, space, and equipment usage. Manage tactical & strategic capacity planning supporting existing & new customers. Provide solutions for the site and supporting groups regarding space requirements, utilisation, and space arrangements to meet increasing demand and constantly changing business activities. Coordinate Capital request, approval process & track delivery status.

Job Responsibilities: -

• Factory layout.
• Capacity planning.
• Time study & time standards.
• Productivity improvement project.
• Resource optimization
• Theoretical Cycle Time establishment.
• Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) planning
• NPI resources & capacity planning
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:-

-Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering).

-Language: Good oral and written skills in English

-Experience:

• Good Industrial engineering knowledge, including Plant layout/Ergonomics/Operations research/Capacity planning/Methods engineering/Work measurement and techniques/ Simulation / Operational modelling/ Facilities operations
• Independent, resourceful, and takes initiative.
• Effective communication skills.

-Functional Competency:

• Able to work independently with a functional team
• Capacity, Manpower & Layout planning knowledge
• Time Study knowledge
• English Communication Skills
• Office (PPT, Excel, etc.), AutoCAD, and Analytical Reporting Skill

-Other Qualifications (Plus Requirements): Simulation knowledge & Predetermined Time Standards knowledge
