Industrial Nurse

Role Description The Industrial Nurse at Lumileds is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas. This role is responsible for providing occupational health nursing services, including assessing and managing employee health concerns, administering first aid and emergency care, and coordinating referrals to medical professionals when needed. The Industrial Nurse will conduct health surveillance, support workplace safety initiatives, and collaborate with the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team to prevent work-related illnesses and injuries. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate medical records, monitoring compliance with health regulations, organizing wellness and vaccination programs, and delivering training on health, hygiene, and safety practices. The role also involves advising management and employees on occupational health risks, promoting a healthy work environment, and participating in incident investigations from a medical perspective.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Occupational Health Nursing and Nursing skills, with experience in clinical assessment and employee care.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Occupational Health principles and workplace health regulations, including risk assessment and prevention strategies.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine relevant to industrial and workplace settings, including first aid and emergency response.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to design and deliver health, wellness, and safety education programs for employees.
• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid practicing license; post-basic certification in Occupational Health Nursing or related field is an advantage.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably within multinational companies, is beneficial.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and respond effectively in emergency situations.
