About the Job
We are looking for a passionate, detail-obsessed, and pragmatic person to work with us in the role of Information Security Officer.
The Information Security Officer will:
Design and execute the enterprise-wide information security management framework including any and all information security training efforts to ensure that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information is owned, controlled or processed in a manner compliant with company policy, relevant regulations and industry best standards
Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management programme that is appropriate for the business, while maintaining and enhancing all related policies and processes.
Proactive identification and mitigation of security risks while assisting in the development of periodic reports and dashboards presenting the level of controls compliance and current security risk posture
Project manage and conduct third party information security assessments and implement the recommendations from independent assessments and audits
Provide leadership and guidance on information security topics, advising and collaborating on security processes, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans
Monitor external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on appropriate courses of action
Be appointed as data privacy officer in one or more of the markets we operate in
Liaise with relevant business units (such as Internal Legal and Compliance, Finance, Technology, HR and Commercial) and external agencies as needed to ensure that the Group maintains a strong security posture
Assist with overall technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
Build and maintain collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization, including with the senior leadership team, CXOs and Board members (as required)
In this role, we are looking for someone with:
Minimum of eight years of information security governance, risk, compliance and/or technology risk management, preferably in both enterprise and startup environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (any additional Asian language a plus), with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
Having certifications such as ISO 27005, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, CISSP, CISM, ITIL appreciated
Experience in designing and managing new and existing security systems
Expertise in information and cybersecurity frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 2 as well as a good general understanding of data protection law
Experience in facing off to financial and insurance regulators and institutions and prior regional APAC experience a plus
Tech-savvy, love the cloud, and have successfully demonstrated an understanding of how modern architectures, pipelines and cloud deployments can significantly manage risk
Leadership experience with team leading background
