Job Description

Overview

The IT Executive provides hands-on technical and operational support across all IT systems in the Resort. The role focuses on daily system support, troubleshooting, maintenance, data security, and coordination with the IT Manager to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Governance

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of the IT Operations Manual in line with Resort policies and procedures.
  • Support periodic reviews of IT policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Ensure availability and proper management of IT stationery, consumables, and system-related requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining valid software, hardware, and system licenses.
  • Support the IT Manager in implementing system upgrades, enhancements, and new technologies.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate employee system access, including email accounts, system IDs, and user privileges, as instructed.

Customer Service (Internal & External)

  • Provide professional, courteous, and timely IT support to employees (internal customers) and authorised external parties.
  • Respond promptly to guest and employee IT-related enquiries, ensuring effective follow-up and resolution.
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues across all departments.
  • Deliver IT services in accordance with Resort service standards.

Financial & Cost Control Support

  • Assist in monitoring IT-related expenses and support cost control initiatives.
  • Promote efficient use of IT resources to support productivity and energy efficiency.
  • Support the IT Manager in providing IT-related inputs for budgets and business planning.

Operational & Technical Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for IT hardware, software, network systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist authorised users with the operation of Resort information systems and applications.
  • Coordinate and follow up on repair and servicing of faulty IT equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Carry out regular data backups and support data recovery procedures.
  • Assist in restoring systems and data affected by hardware or software failures.
  • Log, investigate, and follow up on system faults, software issues, and enhancement requests.
  • Support implementation of emergency IT procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Prepare and update system user guides and documentation.
  • Assist in enforcing IT security measures to prevent unauthorised access.
  • Provide technical support during internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with operational departments to maintain accurate and secure databases.

Compliance & Professional Conduct

  • Comply with Resort policies, procedures, and work rules, including fire safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety.
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming, punctuality, and professional conduct.
  • Participate in training programmes, briefings, and meetings as required.
  • Support a positive team environment through cooperation and accountability.
  • Demonstrate initiative in continuous learning and skills development.

Other Duties

  • Adapt to changes in technology, systems, and operational requirements.
  • Represent the Resort positively at all times.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the IT Manager or Management.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Resort's Employee Guide, particularly policies relating to fire safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety.
  • Support employee welfare, safety, development, and well-being through guidance and professional feedback.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and briefings as required.

Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
