Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
· Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation and post-go-live support.
· Develop project charters, business cases, project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and governance reports.
· Manage project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and budgets.
· Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
· Facilitate project steering committee and stakeholder meetings.
Stakeholder Management
· Engage clinical, nursing, operational, and administrative stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
· Coordinate with hospital leadership, vendors, consultants, and technical teams.
· Prepare project status reports and executive updates for management and governance committees.
· Manage communication plans and change management activities.
Healthcare Systems Implementation
· Lead implementation and enhancement of healthcare applications, including:
o Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
o Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
o Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
o Medical Device Integration (MDI)
o Patient Portals and Digital Health Solutions
· Support workflow analysis, process redesign, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Vendor and Contract Management
· Manage vendor performance and delivery against contractual obligations.
· Participate in RFP/RFQ processes, vendor evaluations, and solution assessments.
· Review project deliverables and ensure compliance with agreed requirements.
Governance, Risk and Compliance
· Ensure projects adhere to organization policies, cybersecurity standards, and healthcare regulations.
· Maintain project documentation and audit readiness.
· Monitor project risks, dependencies, and quality metrics.
Change Management and Training
· Support training, adoption, and change management activities.
· Coordinate go-live planning and post-implementation support.
· Promote effective user engagement and operational readiness.
Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or related field.
· PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
Experience
· Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience in IT or digital transformation projects.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, hospital, or healthcare technology environments preferred.
· Proven experience managing medium to large-scale healthcare system implementations.
· Experience with EMR, HIS, clinical systems, healthcare interoperability, or medical device integration is an advantage.
