UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Objectives

To manage and drive the Technology Obsolescence Program under the Operational Risk Self-Assessment (ORSA) framework

Responsibilities

• Track, report, and manage Technology Obsolescence across the bank.
• Validate, reconcile and remediate data in CMDB related to Tech obsolescence.
• Extract and Collate data from multiple sources, interpret using power BI, create reports as appropriate and share updates to leadership
• Work closely with application teams, other stakeholders and reduce the gap in tech obsolescence across the enterprise.
• Collaborate, negotiate and escalate as appropriate to make sure there are no outliers in meeting the milestones as per tech obsolescence plan.

Requirements

• Understanding of CMDB concepts and experience using it in IT asset environments.
• Familiarity with Power BI on data collation and extraction and report creation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective collaboration skills to drive desired outcomes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience in managing Technology Obsolescence related activities.
• Knowledge of CMDB, OS Platforms, Storage, Network, Middleware, etc.
• Understanding and awareness of CI data classes, and attribute inheritance.
• Bachelor's degree of Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience and/or in Banking experience is a plus.
