Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Linux systems, cloud platforms, virtualization, containerization, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Red Hat / RHEL, Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, Kubernetes, VMware, OpenStack, and AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in production environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting and Python
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Administer and support virtualized environments using VMware
- Design, deploy, and manage private cloud environments using OpenStack
- Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Perform system troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Red Hat / RHEL administration
- Hands-on automation experience using Ansible
- Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash) and Python
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters
- Virtualization expertise with VMware
- Experience with OpenStack cloud deployments
- Practical knowledge of AWS / Cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Linux networking, storage, and system security
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- RHCSA / RHCE certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with DevOps and SRE practices
