Innovation & Renovation Manager

We are looking for an Innovation & Renovation Manager to drive and co-ordinate new products development & existing products improvement for the business unit.

A day in the life of an I&R Manager

• Drive establishment and management of innovation pipelines and portfolio
• Engage all relevant disciplines in the company to ensure on target implementation of Innovation projects under his/her care.
• Validate all new products meet specifications (including organoleptic, physical, chemical, microbiological, halal, regulatory and other requirements).
• Actively evaluate innovative ideas, products, packaging using Nestlé worldwide network as well as cross fertilized ideas across the markets.
• Actively monitor with team members, the success of existing products and initiate product renovation ideas in terms of consumer preference, cost, wellness and product quality.
• Co-ordinate project briefs and proposals in innovation portfolio to establish and maintain full innovation pipelines.
• Co-ordinate project to establish, maintain or update manufacturing strategy covering all plants under his/her responsibility.
• Participate actively with Outsourcing Manager in identifying price competitive, high quality co-manufacturers for packaging / processing formats not offered by current manufacturers. Participate actively with Group technology unit to ensure availability and adequacy of resources & competencies for all innovation products, including consumer research needs.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company principles and policies.
• Plan, direct and control implementation of new products development project portfolio to ensure new products are launched on time at desired cost

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's degree in Food science/food technology or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in food processing
• Good experience in project management
• Proficiency in English
