Innovations Marketing Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Innovations Specialist for MEDICOS to drive exploration and development of new product opportunities. This role requires a balance of NPD, brand management and commercial discipline from identifying opportunities, building strong business cases, sourcing and developing products, to crafting go-to-market strategies.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in brand management and new product development (NPD) and thrives in a collaborative local environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Opportunity & Trend Exploration
- Understand disposable medical devices usage in medical settings, category dynamics, and competitive landscape to spot emerging opportunities and unmet medical needs.
2. Strategic Business Case Development
- Translate opportunities into robust business cases with clear rationale, consumer insights and market need-gaps.
- Perform category sizing and size-of-prize projections to prioritize initiatives.
3. New Product Development (NPD) & Sourcing
- Champion product development from concept to launch, ensuring quality, compliance, and brand alignment.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage partners and suppliers to bring products to life which includes Negotiate costings, lead times, and supply agreements to deliver both efficiency and innovation.
4. Go-to-Market Strategy
- Develop Go-to-market strategies for product launches.
- Collaborate with creative teams to design packaging and sales materials.
- Build sales enablement tools including training kits, catalogues, and customer pitch decks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field.
- 3-5 years experience in marketing, brand management, or innovation roles (Personal care, Medical Devices).
- Demonstrated success in NPD, brand innovation, or portfolio expansion.
- Strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
