Inside Sales Executive
Location: Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor (Direct access to LRT 3, Bandar Baru Klang Station)
About SRKK AI Academy
SRKK AI Academy is the learning and development arm of SRKK Group, delivering professional training programmes in areas such as AI, Microsoft technologies, digital productivity, leadership, business skills, and digital transformation.
We are looking for a highly organised, customer-focused Inside Sales & Academy Operations Executive to support the end-to-end operation of our public training programmes, from the moment a customer enquires through registration and payment to successful delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with customers, following up on enquiries, coordinating activities and keeping things organised.
Key Responsibilities
1. Public Class Enquiry & Sales Conversion
- Handle enquiries for SRKK Academy's public training programmes through WhatsApp, phone, email, social media and other channels.
- Respond promptly to enquiries and provide accurate information on programme content, dates, fees, trainers, venue, and registration.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable public programmes.
- Follow up with interested prospects and convert enquiries into confirmed registrations.
- Manage the enquiry process from initial contact to registration and payment.
- Maintain regular follow-up with pending prospects and ensure opportunities are not missed.
- Handle customer questions and coordinate with the relevant Academy team when additional information is required.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, registrations and outcomes.
2. HRD Corp & Programme Administration Support
- Assist with programme registration and submission of relevant information/documents.
- Track HRDCorp grant and claim status, programme approvals, pending queries, and outstanding matters.
- Maintain a tracking record of programme grants, registrations, claims and outstanding actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure HRDCorp-related matters are followed through properly.
- Escalate issues or delays to the relevant person when necessary.
3. Public Class Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate the operational arrangements for public classes.
- Confirm participant registrations and attendance.
- Coordinate venue, training room, refreshments, training materials, certificates, and other logistical requirements.
- Communicate programme details and reminders to registered participants.
- Prepare participant lists and other necessary administrative documents.
- Coordinate with trainers and internal teams before and during the programme.
- Ensure participants have a smooth experience from registration through completion.
4. Customer Database & CRM Management
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of Academy customers, prospects and participants.
- Ensure customer enquiries, contact information, programme interests and follow-up activities are properly recorded in the CRM.
- Clean and maintain customer data to minimise duplicates and incomplete records.
- Support segmentation of the customer database for future marketing and sales activities.
- Ensure information from public classes is captured for future repeat sales, cross-selling and customer engagement.
5. Customer Relationship & Follow-Up
- Maintain good relationships with Academy participants and customers.
- Follow up with previous participants regarding future programmes and relevant learning opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for repeat registrations, group participation and corporate training enquiries.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate relevant feedback to the Academy team.
- Provide a professional and responsive customer experience throughout the customer journey.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance will be measured across sales conversion, customer experience and operational execution, including:
- Public class enquiry-to-registration conversion rate
- Response and follow-up rate for enquiries
- Number of confirmed public-class registrations
- Follow-up completion rate
- Accuracy and completeness of CRM/customer database
- Timeliness of HRDC-related tracking and follow-up
- Accuracy of participant and programme records
- Public class logistics readiness
- Customer satisfaction/participant experience
- Marketing lead follow-up effectiveness
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales administration, training coordination, education, event coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience in a training provider, education company, or HRD Corp-related environment is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication, organisational and customer-service skills are encouraged to apply.
