Job Description
- Lead the preparation and oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
- Provide strategic financial leadership through budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and scenario analysis to support business growth and informed decision-making.
- Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to deliver financial insights, evaluate investment opportunities, and guide key strategic initiatives.
- Oversee corporate tax planning, regulatory compliance, and statutory submissions while managing relationships with government authorities and ensuring effective risk mitigation.
- Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and financial institutions, ensuring smooth audit processes and strong external stakeholder relationships.
- Lead treasury operations including cashflow forecasting, working capital management, banking facilities, and financial risk management to maintain strong liquidity and capital structure.
- Oversee governance of fixed assets and inventory management, ensuring appropriate controls, accurate valuation, and effective asset lifecycle management.
- Drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives across the organisation by analysing cost structures, strengthening financial controls, and supporting operational teams in achieving financial targets.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 12-15 years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Proven track record in financial strategy, treasury management, and corporate governance
- Experience liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
- Strong understanding of regulatory and tax frameworks
