Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Design Manager, based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Interior Design Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of interior design projects, including managing ID teams and ensuring that project goals are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the interior design team across multiple projects

Review design concepts, layouts, and technical drawings

Coordinate closely with sales, site teams, and contractors

Ensure design quality, timelines, and execution standards are met

Mentor senior and junior designers

Requirements

Minimum 810 years experience in interior design / renovation

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Solid understanding of construction detailing and materials

Able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines

Experience in residential renovation is a strong advantage

Qualifications

Strong skills in Interior Design Management for organizing and executing end-to-end design projects

Proficiency in Drawings that interpret to produce high-quality design plans

Exceptional project management, organizational, and leadership skills

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

Ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members effectively

Knowledge of the interior design and construction industry in Malaysia

Proficiency in design software tools is an added advantage
