About the role

This Intern will support the company's Brand and Communication department in creating, executing and monitoring integrated brand and marketing initiatives to support the business strategies and priorities. This internship offers hands-on experience in social/digital marketing, content creation, brand messaging, CSR activities, event organizing as well as internal and external communications.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in creating, editing, and publishing content for digital platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, etc.
  • Assist the team in supporting business channels in developing sales and marketing materials such as leaflets, web pages, email communications, presentations, and other promotional materials.
  • Assist with website maintenance and updates.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market insights to support content development and strategy.
  • Compile analytics and create performance reports to assess the effectiveness of communication channels. marketing events and campaigns.
  • Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events and engagements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Assist to ensure that marketing materials align with company branding and comply with industry regulations.
  • Assist to run staff events and CSR related activities.
  • Assist in the department's administration and operation deliverables.

Who You Are

  • Candidates must possess or must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of Marketing, Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications or similar. Other academic streams can also be considered.
  • CGPA of 3.0 and above
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office tools such as Words, Excel, Powerpoint, and collaboration tools such as MS Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong willingness to learn, fast learner, a pro-active attitude, high energy, excellent interpersonal skills and be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to be based in KL City Center.
  • Able to commit to an internship period of at least 5 months (Final year students will be given priority due to the ability to intern beyond the university's required duration while waiting to graduate).
