Val Media is a Malaysian-based media company with an audience spanning Southeast Asia. We are the company behind ProductNation, a media brand renowned for its innovative approach to video content creation, especially in the consumer tech sector.
We seek a dynamic and engaging full-time Content Creator Intern who wishes to learn the ropes of content creation and growing social media. You will also get hands-on experience in ideation, scriptwriting, hosting, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm and develop content ideas for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
Assist in planning, scripting, and storyboarding projects- Host videos on-screen based on provided scripts/ideas
Host live streams
- Assist with other content creation tasks, including photography, graphic design, and written content
Requirements:
- Strong command of English. The ability to host in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is a plus.
Ability to plan content, fact-check claims, and write scripts- Prior experience in hosting onscreen is a plus
Basic knowledge and interest in consumer technology (e.g., smartphones, gadgets, computing)
- Strong creative and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail
Detail-oriented and organized- Ability to meet tight deadlines
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field
Strong on-camera presence- Interest in what makes content shareable and engaging online
