Role Description The Intern – Engineering role is a full-time on-site position based in Penang, Malaysia. Interns will support engineering teams with day-to-day activities such as assisting in product and process development, collecting and analyzing data, preparing technical documentation, and participating in testing and validation tasks. Responsibilities may include helping to troubleshoot manufacturing or design issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to support project deliverables. The role offers hands-on exposure to real-world engineering challenges in a high-tech manufacturing environment, along with opportunities to learn industry tools, standards, and best practices under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Engineering (such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field).
Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals, including design concepts, problem-solving methods, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with engineering tools or software (for example, CAD, data analysis tools, or basic programming) is an advantage.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow engineering procedures and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated initiative, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a professional setting.
Availability to work full time on site in Penang, Malaysia for the duration of the internship.
