Key Responsibilities
The intern will play a meaningful role in supporting MCMC's strategic initiatives under the Wilayah Persekutuan State Office. The program will provides hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, event management, advocacy programs and administrative coordination. The selected intern will work closely with Wilayah Persekutuan State Office officers across multiple units, contributing to effective communication, data management and project execution to support MCMC's mission of promoting a connected, informed and empowered society.
Program and Event Coordination
- Assist in scheduling and executing advocacy and outreach programs
- Coordinate logistics, venues, invitations and materials for events and official engagements
Consumer Awareness and Public Engagement
- Assist in developing creative content and materials for consumer awareness campaigns
Advocacy Reporting and Evaluation
- Contribute to the preparation of regular reports on advocacy and engagement activities
- Support data visualization and presentation for management reporting
Event Monitoring and Post-Event Documentation
- Collect and compile feedback from program participants and officers
- Prepare post-event summary reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges and recommendations
Administrative and Operational Support
- Support daily office operations, including correspondence, filing and record maintenance
- Update and manage databases related to events, meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in tracking expenditures and supporting budget documentation in line with MCMC's SOPs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in inter-unit assignments to gain exposure across different WPSO functions
- Foster teamwork and knowledge-sharing among colleagues and units
Ad-Hoc Assignments
- Perform any other related duties as required, including supporting special projects and ministerial engagements
Qualifications/Courses/Studies Background
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.2/4.0
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally
