We are excited to offer an internship opportunity within Principal's Islamic Investment team, providing a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of investment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about economics, market research and finance.

What You'll Do:

• Conducting economic research to analyse market trends, investment opportunities and potential risks.
• Assisting in the preparation of economic write-ups and reports
• Supporting the team in updating market data, including stock prices, interest rates and economic indicators
• Supporting the team to gather and analyse data for investment decision-making
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Investment department

Who You Are

• Candidates must possess or must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. P
• Able to complete a minimum of 6 months internship.
