What would you do

To ensure the smooth operation of an organization's IT infrastructure thru technical assistance to the Desktop Engineer, Leads and end-users. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining desktop systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for Desktop Support Interns includes:

  1. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
  2. System Setup and Configuration: Installing and configuring desktop systems, operating systems, and software applications.
  3. User Support: Assisting end-users with technical queries and providing training to optimize their use of IT tools.
  4. Maintenance and Updates: Performing regular system checks, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance
  5. Collaboration: Working with other IT teams to maintain a cohesive IT environment.
  6. Cybersecurity: Implementing endpoint security measures and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  7. Documentation: Keeping records of system configurations, issues, and resolutions.
  8. Any other duties and tasks assigned and/or as required by the manager.

Who should join us

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant fields
  • Any professional certification related to IT support, Help Desk, Microsoft Windows and Office 365 is desirable
