Key Responsibilities
Seeking for a motivated and creative intern to support the Media Unit within the Corporate Communications Department. The intern will assist in a variety of tasks related to media production, content creation, and communications support. General duties include.
- Assisting in the development and editing of multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and photography for internal and external communications
- Supporting social media management including content scheduling, engagement tracking, and analytics reporting
- Participating in event coverage by capturing photos/videos and compiling post-event media materials
- Helping draft and edit communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, and promotional content
- Conducting media monitoring and compiling daily or weekly reports on relevant news and coverage
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as organizing media assets, updating databases, and coordinating with vendors or external agencies
- Collaborating with team members on creative campaigns and brainstorming sessions
Qualifications/Courses/Studies Background
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.2/4.0
- Basic knowledge of content creation, social media platforms, and digital communication tools
- Familiarity with graphic design, video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut), or photography is an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
