We are looking for a detail-oriented Intern to support our pricing and operations team. This internship provides hands-on experience in pricing analysis, system data validation, and catalogue management in a fast-paced retail and pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting online price checks to evaluate market competitiveness and propose relevant pricing recommendations to the team.
- Support the identification and resolution of pricing discrepancies, ensuring all product prices are accurate and up-to-date across systems.
- Perform thorough verification of pricing data for consistency and accuracy, including cross-referencing information to detect and correct errors.
- Maintain clear and organized records of pricing discrepancies and corrective actions taken; prepare reports on pricing accuracy for senior team review.
- Collaborate closely with the pricing and operations teams to obtain necessary approvals on final pricing decisions.
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
- Contribute ideas and assist in implementing improvements to the pricing verification process to enhance efficiency and data reliability.
- Support the development and maintenance of best practices for pricing and catalogue management.
- Provide assistance on various pricing and catalogue-related tasks, and perform other duties as assigned to support smooth team operations.
Requirements:
- This is an internship position based in Sunway or Cheras.
- Preferable internship period of at least 4 months or above.
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Business Administrative, Marketing or relevant field is preferred.
- Interest in Pricing and Costing.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
