We are looking for an Intern, Private Credit at Principal Asset Management Malaysia who will support our Private credit team to set up internal frameworks and workflows, conducting industry research and due diligence, and assisting with basic financial modelling.

What You'll Do:

• Support the launch of new private asset platform Contribute to the setup of internal frameworks, tools, and workflows to operationalize the new private asset initiative.
• Conduct research & analysis Perform industry research, borrower due diligence, and assist in building basic financial models to support investment assessments.
• Assist in documentation & reporting Assist in drafting and organizing internal policies covering credit evaluation, risk management, governance, and operational processes
• Overall, this role will play an integral role in supporting the early-stage buildout of a new capability. It will offer a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to both investment evaluation and operational setup, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's or master's degree student with a major in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Other disciplines are also considered. CFA qualification is an advantage.
• Proactive and resourceful with strong attention to detail
• Eager to learn, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Able to complete 6 months of internship
