Job Summary
As a Group Procurement Intern, you will support the team in managing purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and process improvements. This role offers hands-on exposure to procurement operations and the opportunity to learn how a large organization manages spending, negotiations, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing activities, including gathering quotations and comparing supplier options.
- Support the preparation and updating of procurement documents, reports, and data trackers.
- Liaise with internal departments to understand their requirements and facilitate the procurement process
- Help coordinate with suppliers on deliveries, documentation, and basic inquiries.
- Assist in reviewing purchase requisitions and ensuring completeness of information.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and administrative support as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities
Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
