Job Title: Media & Communications Intern

Pumo Technovation is looking for a creative and driven Media & Communications Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to content creation, brand communications, digital media, and marketing campaigns in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Support the production of written materials including blog posts, press releases, newsletters, and internal communications

Help design visual assets and marketing collateral using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns and tracking performance metrics

Coordinate and support media coverage, event communications, and public relations activities

Conduct research on industry trends, audience insights, and competitor communications strategies

Help manage and update the company website and other digital channels

Support video production, editing, and publishing for promotional or educational content

Assist in coordinating with external vendors, agencies, or media partners when required

Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions and team meetings

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mass communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage

Basic familiarity with social media management and digital marketing concepts

Creative mindset with a good eye for visual design and storytelling

Comfortable using tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media scheduling platforms

Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools is a plus

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks

Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
