Ansell is looking for a Intern, R&D to join our team in Melaka, Malaysia.
In this position you will play a vital role in support our Research & Development team in product development, testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This internship offers hands-on exposure to research methodologies, laboratory practices, product evaluation, and innovation projects within a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining practical knowledge while contributing to projects that enhance product quality, performance, and process efficiency.
Responsibility: -
- To carry out laboratory tests on glove application testings using lab equipment.
- To carry out laboratory test that simulates the application usage of a doctor/nurses.
- To prepare lab chemicals and test equipment set up.
- To label all samples clearly, and to record all information on the sample, testing procedures, experimental observations and results in a research notebook.
- To follow Safety, Health and Environment procedures at all times at work.
- To summarise and tabulate results systematically for analysis and write reports if required.
- To protect confidentiality of information related to Ansell work such that no unauthorised person could assess to it.
- To maintain high level of housekeeping.

What you will bring
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Applied Sciences, or other related engineering and science disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, charts) and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Multi-tasking, manage to prioritize job assigned and and handle different assignments simultaneously.
- Neat and tidy laboratory recordings in laboratory/research notebook.
- Has basic understanding of good laboratory practices.
