Job Summary

Are you eager to break into Release Management but worried you don't have years of experience yet Don't be! We are looking for an enthusiastic, tech-savvy Release Management Intern to join our team. In this role, you won't just be watching the gears turn—you will be actively building the machinery that keeps our deployment moving smoothly.

You will receive structured, hands-on, on-the-job training and guidance fully provided by an experienced Release Manager. We focus on your willingness to learn and your foundational logic rather than expecting you to be an expert on day one.

Job Responsibilities

As a Release Management Intern, you will bridge the gap between development, QA, and operations. Your core focus will be enhancing the Release Management efficiency through automation.

• Google Chat Workflow Automation: Design, code, and deploy custom bots or webhooks to automate release alerts, approval workflows, and status updates directly within Google Chat.
• Confluence Reporting Automation: Develop automated scripts to pull release data, metrics, generating real-time reports and dashboards in Confluence.
• Scripting & Tooling: Write, test, and maintain scripts to automate repetitive release tasks, environment checks, and data synchronization.
• Release Coordination Support: Assist the team in tracking deployment schedules, documenting release notes, and ensuring all quality gates are met before production rollouts.

Job Requirement

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong Scripting Skills: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/Apps Script, Bash, or PowerShell) is a must.
• API Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with REST APIs (specifically working with Google Workspace APIs and Atlassian/Confluence APIs is a huge plus).
• Process-Oriented Mindset: An obsession with efficiency—if you have to do a task twice, your first instinct should be to automate it.
• Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document your code and workflows clearly.
