Job Description
Research, Policy & Documentation
- Conduct desktop research for policy development and implementation, including global/local industry trends, government policies, regulatory developments, developmental programmes, and best practices.
- Analyse data, synthesise findings, and prepare concise briefs, summaries, and reading notes.
- Assist in preparing initial drafts of concept notes, approval papers, management papers, memos, reports, and other official documents based on outlines provided.
- Proofread and refine documents to ensure language accuracy (Bahasa Melayu & English), consistency, and professional formatting.
Project Secretariat, Coordination & Tracking
- Support ongoing projects and initiatives, working closely with internal teams to achieve agreed objectives.
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, and status updates to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate follow-ups on action items and support documentation for accountability and audit readiness.
- Liaise with suppliers/service providers, project managers, and stakeholders to support smooth implementation of initiatives.
Reporting & Records Management
- Maintain accurate records of tasks, correspondence, meeting outcomes, and project documentation.
- Prepare periodic project updates and reports with strong attention to detail.
Administrative & Meeting Support
- Organise and schedule meetings; prepare documents and materials required for discussions.
- Draft minutes of meeting and circulate action items/decisions accordingly.
- Provide general administrative support to the Division to ensure seamless coordination.
Operational, Event & Outreach Support
- Assist in planning and executing awareness/outreach activities, workshops, roundtables, and stakeholder engagements.
- Support event logistics (invitations, attendance lists, registration) and basic on-site coordination when required.
Education / Background
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Public Policy, Regulatory/Legal, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or related fields (or relevant experience/interest in policy/project work) with a minimum CGPA of 3.2/4.0
- Research and analytical skills (ability to summarise complex information clearly).
- Good writing and documentation skills for formal papers/memos/reports.
- Good command of Bahasa Melayu and English (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and professionalism in handling official documentation.
- Able to liaise across internal/external parties
