Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organised intern to support our Financial Inclusion and Sustainability programmes, with exposure to programme management, community engagement, research and communications. This role is suited for someone who enjoys working with people, organising information, turning research into useful insights, and supporting initiatives that create positive social impact. You will work closely with the Financial Inclusion team and gain exposure to programme delivery, impact measurement, stakeholder coordination, financial education and sustainability initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Inclusion Awareness & Education
- Support the preparation of financial education content for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in developing newsletters and awareness materials.
- Conduct research on relevant financial inclusion and sustainability topics.
- Support the development of speeches, talking points, presentation materials and other communication content.
Events & Community Engagement
- Support the planning and execution of financial inclusion and sustainability events.
- Assist with event communications, participant coordination and logistics.
- Support preparation of event materials and briefing documents.
- Assist with post-event reporting, documentation and content development.
Implementation & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support where necessary, ensuring smooth project operations
- Assist in analysing programme data and identifying key trends or observations.
- Support the preparation of programme and impact reports.
- Maintain accurate programme documentation and records.
- Support the team in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
Job Requirement
- A graduate degree in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field
- A strong passion for sustainability and ESG issues
- Good analytical skills and good research skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to develop clear and well-structured presentation decks
- Organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Able to work independently while collaborating with different stakeholders
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is a plus, especially for community-level engagement
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork and stakeholder engagements
The intern will have the opportunity to work on real programmes and initiatives rather than purely administrative tasks, with exposure to internal stakeholders, external partners and community programmes.
