As an IT Intern in Software Engineering, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining our software solutions. You will work on various projects including Google AppScript automation, Node.js backend development, and cloud computing projects involving platforms like GCP, AWS, etc. This position offers a robust experience in a dynamic and supportive environment where collaboration across teams is encouraged.
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebases across department and customers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Assist the Tech team to service customers and collaborate with other departments with any tasks/responsibilities/projects.
- Support company community initiatives such as business networking events, member engagement activities etc.
- Additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.
- Undergoing Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-tasking
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, PHP and Node.js.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with web development (front-end or back-end development)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
