We're Hiring: Internal Auditor – Group Internal Audit Department
Are you passionate about risk management, compliance, and driving operational excellence Join our dynamic Group Internal Audit team and play a key role in safeguarding the integrity of our operations.
What You'll Do
- Conduct audits and inspections across AmBank Group's operations to assess control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in post-audit administrative tasks and reporting.
- Prepare audit documentation, workflows, and system notes.
- Highlight audit findings and support reporting to AEC, Board, and Regulators.
- Stay updated on audit techniques, technologies, and regulatory developments.
- Participate in ad-hoc reviews and investigations as required.
What We're Looking For
- A basic degree in Accountancy or a professional accountancy qualification.
- Candidates pursuing professional qualifications under the Bank's approved training contract are welcome.
- Strong competencies in audit know-how, IT audit, legal & regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certification for Bank Auditors
- Function-specific certifications (e.g., PCC, Shariah, IT)
- Membership with Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB)
