We are seeking a highly motivated International Business Development Manager to join our team in the Malaysia region. This role will focus on driving growth by building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies in the SEA region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting large-scale IT initiatives, including tenders, RFPs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C Level members, procurement officers, and international organizations.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from opportunity identification and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, finance) to customize IT solutions that meet stringent compliance and security standards.
  • Conduct market intelligence on global IT trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes in target regions (e.g., Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe).
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while managing a pipeline of high-value opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the SEA region.
  • Strong experience in dealing (business-to-business) large scale IT projects.
  • Strong track record dealing with higher officials, entities in international settings.
  • Deep knowledge of IT sectors such as enterprise software, cybersecurity, data centers, or digital transformation.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (40-50%) and adapt to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
