Internship (Corporate Strategy Department)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Corporate Strategy Intern to support the Corporate Strategy team at PR1MA Corporation Malaysia. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure to strategic planning, market research, business analysis, performance monitoring, and the development of strategic initiatives within a corporate environment.

The intern will work closely with the team in conducting research, analysing information, preparing management materials, and supporting various corporate strategy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting market, industry, competitor, and business research to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Support data collection, analysis, benchmarking, and interpretation for corporate strategy initiatives.
• Assist in preparing management presentations, reports, dashboards, briefing materials, and strategic papers.
• Support the monitoring and tracking of corporate strategic initiatives, action plans, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct research on industry trends, market developments, emerging opportunities, and potential business areas.
• Assist in the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies, and strategic assessments.
• Support the team in gathering and analysing information from various internal and external sources.
• Assist in coordinating strategic planning meetings, workshops, discussions, and related documentation.
• Maintain proper records and documentation relating to strategic initiatives and planning activities.
• Perform administrative and ad-hoc tasks related to corporate strategy as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Strategic Management or a related field

• Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and willing to learn.
