Internship, Finance (Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd)

Role Description

This is an internship role in Finance at Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd, based on-site in Batu Caves. The intern will assist the finance team with daily tasks such as preparing and updating financial records, supporting the review and reconciliation of accounts, and helping with basic analysis of financial statements and reports. Responsibilities may include data entry into finance and accounting systems, organizing documentation for audits and internal reviews, and supporting the preparation of monthly or quarterly reports. The intern will collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, help respond to internal queries, and gain practical exposure to finance processes within a large automotive and industrial equipment organization.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret numerical data and identify basic trends.
• Foundational knowledge of finance concepts and exposure to financial statements.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity when handling financial information.
• Willingness to learn, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
