Internship - Laboratory (Microbiology / Chemistry)

Job Description

• Assist Microbiologist / Chemist or Laboratory Supervisor in carrying out laboratory experiments to set-up new methodology as driven by business need or improve current methodology as driven by operational need.
• Review, enhance and update working instruction /Standard Operating Procedure and standard method comparison under supervision of Chemist when needed.
• Adhere to group HSE safety procedures.
• Ensure that the information from the clients is kept strictly confidential and never revealed to third party.
• Ensure all controlled quality procedures, test methods and documents are kept confidentially and restricted within SGS premise.
• Ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory practice in the laboratory.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your superior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry orBiologyor related field from recognized university / college.
• Preferably6 months internship period.
