Retail Operations Intern – Ariani Ready-to-Wear (RTW)

We are looking for a proactive, responsible and detail-oriented Retail Operations Intern to support the daily retail operations of Ariani Ready-to-Wear.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in retail management, store operations, inventory control and stock coordination within the fashion retail industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Operations Support

• Assist in coordinating daily operational activities across Ariani RTW boutiques.
• Support the Retail Operations team in monitoring store performance and operational requirements.
• Assist with store inspections, follow-ups and compliance with company SOPs.
• Coordinate with boutique managers and other departments on operational matters.

Inventory & Stock Coordination

• Assist in monitoring stock receiving, deliveries, transfers and replenishment between boutiques.
• Support inventory tracking, stock counts and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure stock movement records and documentation are properly maintained.
• Assist in identifying and following up on stock discrepancies.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare and update daily or weekly operational reports.
• Assist with sales and inventory data compilation.
• Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel and other internal systems.
• Support general administrative and operational tasks as required.

Store Support & Coordination

• Assist with boutique visits, store setup and operational inspections when required.
• Support stockroom organisation and basic visual merchandising arrangements.
• Communicate with boutique teams to ensure smooth coordination of operational activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Organised, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Comfortable with hands-on operational tasks, including stock handling and boutique visits.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Interest in fashion retail and retail operations is an added advantage.
• No prior retail experience required, but candidates with relevant experience will have an advantage.
