The MCMC Internship Programme - RISE@MCMC is to attract potential and brightest talents who are up for the challenge in our diverse business functions. The programme will provide opportunities to gain valuable hands-on exposure and experiences which will bring great benefits in charting your professional journey. Throughout the programme, the intern will gain practical exposure to communication, management, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, data analysis, and regulatory operations within MCMC, while developing essential skills in problem-solving, teamwork, digital literacy, professional work ethics, and critical thinking to enhance overall career readiness.
Responsibilities
1. Program and Event Coordination
• Assist in scheduling and executing WPSO advocacy and outreach programs.
• Coordinate logistics, venues, invitations and materials for events and official engagements.
2. Advocacy Reporting and Evaluation
• Contribute to the preparation of regular reports on advocacy and engagement activities.
• Support data visualization and presentation for management reporting.
3. Consumer Awareness and Public Engagement
• Assist in developing creative content and materials for consumer awareness campaigns.
4. Event Monitoring and Post-Event Documentation
• Collect and compile feedback from program participants and officers.
• Prepare post-event summary reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges and recommendations.
5. Administrative and Operational Support
• Support daily office operations, including correspondence, filing and record maintenance.
• Update and manage databases related to events, meetings and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in tracking expenditures and supporting budget documentation in line with MCMC's SOPs.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Participate in inter-unit assignments to gain exposure across different WPSO functions.
• Foster teamwork and knowledge sharing among colleagues and units
7. Ad-Hoc Assignments
• Perform any other related duties as required, including supporting special projects and ministerial engagements.
Qualifications/Courses/Studies Background
1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management, Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.20/4.00 from a recognised university;
2. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy;
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
4. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally;
