Purpose Statement: Position ensures inventory tracking systems integrity and consistency and ensures cycle count accuracy.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Ensures JDE and WMS inventory consistency and accuracy. Review WMS integrity report and other reports and resolves discrepancies as necessary.
- Assist with the control and management of raw material inventory to reduce inventory cost while increasing inventory accuracy, flexibility, and integrity.
- Supports the cycle count program to accurately track and report raw material inventory levels to ensure availability of materials required for production in alignment with appropriate accounting guidelines.
- Actively participates or leads materials related projects at the site to ensure initiatives incorporate proper inventory control reporting and objectives.
- This role understands the correlation between multiple inventory systems and is a site expert in WMS and JDE, using their system knowledge to solve complex material availability problems. This may include being a site contact for Corporate IT for all WMS system issues as well as managing the item master setup in both JDE and WMS.
Education/Experience Qualifications
- Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience.
Other Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Good problem solving skills. Basic mathematics skills.
Physical Requirements
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
