Job Description

We are hiring an Investment & Deal Analyst to join our Equity Crowdfunding (ECF) platform. The role sits at the intersection of investment analysis, issuer readiness, regulatory compliance, and transaction execution.

You will work closely with issuers, internal compliance and operations teams, and senior management to ensure companies listed on the platform are investment-ready, financially sound, and properly presented to investors.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys hands-on analysis, structured thinking, and seeing transactions through from sourcing, due diligence to live fundraising.

Key ResponsibilitiesIssuer Due Diligence & Investment Analysis
  • Evaluate fundraising companies across financial performance, business model sustainability, governance, and risk factors.
  • Review and analyze audited & management accounts, projections, cap tables, and use-of-proceeds.
  • Identify key assumptions, red flags, and downside risks in issuer submissions.
  • Prepare internal investment summaries and recommendation memos.
Deal Structuring & Documentation
  • Support the structuring of fundraising terms in line with ECF regulations and platform policies.
  • Review offering materials, pitch decks, and disclosures to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Work with issuers to refine financial narratives without over-promising or misrepresentation.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
  • Ensure issuer documentation complies with applicable ECF regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with compliance and operations teams during onboarding and fundraising stages.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory queries, internal reviews, or audits where required.
Transaction Execution & Monitoring
  • Support end-to-end deal execution, from onboarding to campaign launch and closing.
  • Track fundraising progress and assist with post-fundraise documentation.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of issuers post-fundraising where required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 14 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, audit, advisory, banking, or similar roles.
  • Financial analysis skills, including understanding of financial statements and projections.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working within regulated environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have
  • Exposure to capital markets, private investments, crowdfunding, or SME financing.
  • Experience reviewing financial models, pitch decks, or investment memoranda.
  • Familiarity with regulatory-driven environments or compliance processes.
