Role Description

We are seeking an Investment Director to join our venture capital team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore.

The Investment Director will lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of early-stage investment opportunities across Asia. The role will also involve overseeing portfolio performance and working with founders on strategic initiatives, business growth, and fundraising. In collaboration with the broader investment team, the Investment Director will help shape and refine investment theses, develop sector insights, and contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the fund. The role will also involve building and maintaining strong relationships across the venture capital ecosystem, including founders, investors, and industry partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in early-stage venture capital investing, with a demonstrated track record of identifying and executing successful investments.
• Proven expertise across deal sourcing, investment evaluation, due diligence, deal structuring, and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of venture financing structures and investment documentation, with the ability to evaluate and negotiate key commercial and legal terms.
• Demonstrated awareness of emerging trends, technologies, and business models.
• Established network across the regional startup and venture capital ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with founders, investors, partners, and other stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional qualification is advantageous.
• Experience working in emerging industries, sectors, or technologies, including prior operating experience at a startup.
• Experience with board representation and governance.
