Job Description

Company Overview:

Equitable Technologies is an MIT-founded medical technology startup headquartered in Boston, with a fast-growing product development hub in Kuala Lumpur. We're currently operating in stealth mode as we develop a breakthrough approach to cancer screening - a mission that has the potential for massive real-world impact.

We're supported by a world-class advisory board with leaders from MIT, Harvard, the US FDA, and Cleveland Clinic- and we're now growing our team in KL to shape and deliver this technology to the world.

Job Overview

We're looking for curious, hands-on fresh graduates or early-career engineers (02 years experience) who love tinkering with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, biosensors, and robotics projects. If you enjoy building things for fun, joining competitions, or experimenting with new ideas, this role is for you.

You'll work closely with our software, hardware, and AI teams to explore new concepts, prototype IoT solutions, and contribute to the next generation of MedTech innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and prototype IoT product ideas.
  • Experiment with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and biosensors to test new concepts using both plug-and-play components and from-scratch builds.
  • Participate in exploratory projects, hackathons, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Support integration of hardware and software systems for IoT devices.
  • Literature review, share learnings, and contribute to team knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
  • Passion for robotics, IoT, and DIY projects (bonus if you've joined competitions or built hobby projects).
  • Basic knowledge of programming (Python, C/C++) and electronics.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to explore new technologies.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

What We Offer:

  • Be part of a MedTech startup shaping the future of healthcare technology.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with software, hardware, and AI experts.
  • Freedom to explore, experiment, and bring your ideas to life.
  • Opportunities to grow your career in IoT, robotics, and MedTech innovation.
  • Above-market compensation for top-tier talent.
